Robin has been a leader in the creation, adaptation and management of artistic venues throughout his theatrical career. He specializes in adapting ‘found space’ for theatrical use, re-imagining and converting interior spaces into dynamic performance venues. In the 1990’s, as the Theatre Manager at F.A.C.E., an acc-laimed performing arts school in Montreal, initiatives included overseeing renovations of the 1000-seat auditorium and trans-forming the former swimming pool into the 250-seat P-Scene Theatre. Robin col-laborated with Montreal promoter, T’cha Dunlevy, for several years, creating the lighting concept for his annual New Year’s Eve events, renowned ‘underground’ hap-penings that took place in a different industrial venue each year. More recently, Robin designed the lighting concept for THE DREAM PROJECT, staged in former industrial warehouses in Montreal, Brooklyn and San Miguel de Allende, Mexico...
